Sam Reinhart and four other players scored one goal apiece as the visiting Buffalo Sabres rallied past the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 on Sunday.

The Sabres' other goals came from Arttu Ruotsalainen, Jeff Skinner, Rasmus Asplund and Casey Mittelstadt. Asplund's goal, in the third period, proved to be the game-winner.

Jacob Bryson added two assists for the Sabres, who defeated the Flyers for the third time this season.

Goaltender Linus Ullmark made 40 saves for Buffalo, which overcame a 2-0 deficit in the second period.

Shayne Gostisbehere and Joel Farabee each had one goal and one assist and Oskar Lindblom added one goal for the Flyers, who began the day four points out of a playoff spot in the East Division.

Flyers goaltender Carter Hart stopped 26 shots.

The Flyers dominated most of the first period and went ahead 1-0 when Lindblom connected at 11:36. The puck appeared to deflect off Ullmark from behind and into the net.

Farabee scored on the power play at 14:14 for a 2-0 advantage. It was Farabee's team-leading 15th goal of the season.

The Sabres received a power play with 2:59 left in the first but were unable to capitalize and trailed by two goals at the end of the period.

Buffalo closed to 2-1 at 3:56 of the second period when Reinhart tapped the puck into a wide open net. Reinhart has six goals against the Flyers this season.

Less than one minute later, the Sabres equalized as Ruotsalainen notched his first goal at 4:42.

Soon after, Philadelphia's Nicolas Aube-Kubel found himself wide open in front but shot the puck over the net.

The Flyers took a 3-2 advantage at 3:47 of the third when Gostisbehere received a crisp pass from Farabee and fired a wrist shot under Ullmark's pads.

Buffalo's Dylan Cozens had a wrist shot saved by Hart at 11:40 of the third. After the save, a scrum developed with numerous players on both teams behind the Flyers' net.

The Sabres tied the score at 3 when the puck bounced off Skinner's skate at 16:57. The goal was reviewed by the officials and allowed after a long review.

Asplund then pushed the Sabres ahead 4-3 just 25 seconds later when he scored on the backhand.

Mittelstadt put the game away with an empty-net goal with 23.2 seconds left.
